NOTE: REFRESHER can be re-applied as needed, every 3 months to a year, depending on traffic and floor maintenance between coats. Application of Refresher to floors with a satin sheen will raise the gloss level slightly. Bona^® Swedish Formula^® Hardwood Floor Refresher is recommended for unwaxed, polyurethane finished floors only. DO NOT USE OVER ANY FLOOR THAT HAS BEEN WAXED OR OILED. If unsure, wipe a small section of the floor with a clean, white rag dampened with mineral spirits. If a wax residue appears as a shiny glaze on the rag, DO NOT APPLY REFRESHER. BONAKEMI DOES NOT GUARANTEE ADHESION OF REFRESHER OVER WAX OR OIL RESIDUES.

INITIAL APPLICATION:

1. Vacuum or sweep your floor to pick up loose dirt. 2. Scrub (A) your floor thoroughly with Bona^® Swedish Formula^® Hardwood Floor Cleaner, using the white Bona^® Cleaning Pad attached to the Bona^® Applicator Tool. Then, with a water-dampened Bona^® mop or clean cloth, remove remaining dirt or residue from the entire floor. 3. Prepare the Bona^® Applicator Pad: after removing the white Cleaning Pad, slightly water-dampen the white side of the Applicator Pad and attach the black side to the Applicator Tool. 4. Prepare to apply Refresher: rock the container back and forth several times before opening. 5. Apply Refresher: working in small sections (approximately 2x6 feet), Apply (B) a 1-2 inch-wide wavy line of Refresher on the floor. Spread (C) Refresher over entire small section with the Applicator Pad, making sure all the wood is covered. 6. Smooth Out (D) Refresher to eliminate applicator pad lines and any heavy spots, going with the grain of the wood. 7. Repeat the process until the entire floor is coated to achieve consistent gloss levels.

NOTE: For best results, apply a thin, consistent coat; keep airborne dust and air flow to a minimum while floor is wet.

DRY TIME:

Allow to dry 1 hour before walking on coated floors. If desired, a second coat may be applied after 2 hours of drying. NOTE: avoid heavy traffic and replacement of furniture and rugs for 24 hours after final coat.

COVERAGE:

Covers approximately 500 square feet per quart (may vary depending on wear and condition of floor).

CLEAN UP:

Clean tools with soap and water.
